The Hon. Minister of State for Works, Rt. Hon. Bello Muhammad Goronyo, has praised the role of young changemakers and community leaders in driving national progress, describing their efforts as the quiet force behind meaningful development.
Speaking at the 2025 Caliphate Icon Awards on Friday in Sokoto, Goronyo commended the organizers for sustaining what he called a credible platform that celebrates excellence, service, and positive social impact.
The event was organized by Amazing Fame Concept in partnership with the Caliphate Youth Forum and held at the Sokoto Guest House.

Senior Adviser on Media to the Honourable Minister of State for Works. The Honourable. Minister noted that :
“Progress is built by individuals who consistently give their best, often quietly and sometimes against great odds, for the good of society,” the minister said, urging Nigerian youths to remain committed to integrity, resilience, and selfless service.
Goronyo described the awards as more than a ceremonial gathering, emphasizing their importance as a source of inspiration for young Nigerians navigating economic and social challenges. He said the recognition reinforces the value of dedication and ethical leadership in nation-building.
The minister congratulated the award recipients, referring to them as role models whose achievements demonstrate that hard work and service do not go unnoticed. He also reaffirmed the commitment of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to promoting merit, rewarding excellence, and creating an enabling environment for innovation and talent across the Nigerian economy.
Goronyo concluded by applauding Amazing Fame Concept and the Caliphate Youth Forum for their continued efforts, expressing confidence that the awards would further inspire service to humanity and national development.
