The Friends of Africa and Nigeria for Good Governance (FOAN) has thrown its weight behind the African Democratic Congress (ADC), describing the party as the only political platform capable of rescuing Nigeria from its current challenges.
In a statement issued on Friday, February 20, 2026, Friends of Africa and Nigeria for Good Governance – FOAN commended ADC’s renewed national recognition pledge and its commitment to driving a people-focused manifesto through credible aspirants across the country.
FOAN President, Joseph Uchenyo Johnson, speaking through the group’s Secretary-General, Salami Abdulrahaman, said the organisation is prepared to mobilise grassroots support nationwide as preparations for the forthcoming general elections intensify.
According to the statement, “ADC remains the only political party positioned to pull Nigeria out of the current quagmire and restore genuine democratic governance.”
The group praised the leadership of the party under the able stewardship of David Mark, expressing confidence that Nigerians will soon witness the democratic dividends they have long yearned for.
FOAN also lauded the Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency House of Representatives hopeful, Aisha Ibrahim Adoke, for her commitment to projecting the ideals and programmes of ADC in Kogi State, particularly within the Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency.

The group described her efforts as instrumental to strengthening the party’s presence at the grassroots level and consolidating support ahead of the general elections.
FOAN reaffirmed its resolve to continue advocating for good governance and mobilising citizens to support candidates it described as credible and development-driven.

FOAN is one of the officially recognized All ADC National Support group in a letter specially sent to invite all ADC National Leaders support group summit slated for March, 4th, 2026.
