Authorities in Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory are searching for four siblings who disappeared from their family home in the Ado area of Abuja on the evening of December 30, 2025.
The children — all biological siblings — went missing from their residence at Ado Junction, Capital Gate, House No. 2, in Karu Local Government Area, according to their parents, Mr. Asoja Agbena Odubo and his wife.
The parents told authorities that the children were indoors watching cartoons when their mother briefly stepped out to purchase cooking ingredients nearby. When she returned, the house was empty and the children were gone.
The missing children have been identified as:
Jofrey Kasal Asoja, 11
David Mtsewe Asoja, 7
Joy Lesan Asoja, 4
Joseph Asoja, 2
Family members say the children are light-complexioned, except for Joy Lesan Asoja, who is chocolate-complexioned
All four speak both Etulo and English.
Preliminary information suggests the suspects may have changed the children’s clothing before leaving the area, raising concerns about a possible abduction.
Police have begun investigations and are urging members of the public to remain vigilant. Anyone with information about the children’s whereabouts is advised to report immediately to the nearest police station or contact the family directly at 07035883671.
Photographs of three of the children have been released to aid the search. A photograph of the youngest child is not available.
As concern grows, relatives and community leaders are calling on the public to share the alert widely in hopes of bringing the children home safely.
