The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2026 Batch ‘C’ Stream One Orientation Course will commence on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The three-week orientation exercise is scheduled to run from September 30 to Tuesday, October 20, 2026, according to a statement issued by the NYSC Director, Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu.
The NYSC said registration of all Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) would commence on Wednesday, September 30 and close on Friday, October 2, 2026.
It added that the Swearing-in Ceremony for the batch would hold on Friday, October 2, 2026.
The Scheme urged all Prospective Corps Members to make adequate preparations for the orientation exercise and ensure they arrive safely at their respective orientation camps.
The Director-General of the NYSC, Brigadier-General Olakunle Nafiu, wished all Prospective Corps Members and Course Officials safe journeys to their respective orientation camps.
Nafiu, however, advised the PCMs to avoid night journeys, stressing the need for them to prioritise their safety while travelling to the camps.
He also urged them to board vehicles only at designated motor parks as part of measures to ensure safe transportation during the exercise.
The NYSC further advised all concerned to adhere to the guidelines and schedules for the orientation course.
