The latest surge in petrol prices, with pump prices reaching as high as N1,470 per litre in some locations, has intensified pressure on residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), forcing many commuters to seek the cheapest available means of transportation to and from work.
The development has triggered a sharp increase in transportation costs, with some commuters reportedly spending significantly more on daily journeys, while others have resorted to trekking or waiting for lower-cost vehicles to reduce their expenses.
