We, the Friends of NCC–ECC Likeminds, received with profound shock and deep sadness the news of the passing of the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Solantech and Infotrack, Mr. Shola Ajayi, fondly known as AJ.
AJ was an exceptional professional, a visionary entrepreneur, a mentor, and a distinguished figure who dedicated over three decades to the communications industry.
His remarkable contributions to the sector went beyond business; he was passionate about nurturing talents, empowering people, and creating opportunities for Nigerians to overcome the challenges of unemployment.
Through Solantech, a consultant to the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), AJ made a lasting impact on countless lives and families. His commitment to job creation reportedly provided employment opportunities for more than 500 people over the years, helping to put food on the tables of numerous households and contributing meaningfully to national development.
His legacy is not only reflected in the businesses he built but also in the lives he touched, the professionals he mentored, and the opportunities he created for others to thrive.
He was a man whose impact extended beyond the workplace, leaving behind a legacy of service, enterprise, and human empowerment.
As friends and associates, we deeply cherish the moments we shared with him and remain grateful for the privilege of knowing and working with such an outstanding individual.
His passing is a painful loss to his family, friends, colleagues, the communications industry, and all those who benefited from his generosity, leadership, and professional excellence.
At this difficult moment, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his immediate family, the management and staff of Solantech and Infotrack, and everyone mourning this irreparable loss.
