Former Kogi State Deputy Chief of Staff, Hon. Isa Omade, alongside Alhaji Damisa, on Sunday paid a condolence visit to the Managing Director of the Kogi State Social Investment Programme (SIP), Hon. Deborah Omade, at her residence in Abuja, following the death of her brother-in-law, Felix.

During the visit, Hon. Omade described the late Felix as a humble, respectful and highly dedicated young man whose commitment and sense of responsibility stood out during their time together in Lokoja.

“Felix was more than an in-law to us,” Omade said. “He made himself available at all times, carried out assignments beyond expectations, and never complained. He was transparent, obedient and deeply respectful. His impact was positive and lasting.”

Hon. Omade noted that although Felix’s life was cut short, it was a life well lived. Drawing biblical references, he emphasized that impact, not longevity, defines true legacy.

“It is not how long one lives, but how well,” he said. “Even Jesus lived for 33 years, yet His name is called every day across the world. Felix lived a beautiful and impactful life, and we take consolation in that, and in the daughter he left behind.”

Sharing a personal reflection on loss, Hon. Omade sympathized with the bereaved family, particularly the late Felix’s mother, acknowledging the enduring pain that comes with losing a loved one. He prayed that God would grant the family the strength and fortitude to bear the loss.

Alhaji Damisa also offered prayers for the repose of Felix’s soul and for divine comfort for Hon. Deborah Omade and the entire family during this difficult time.

The visit ended with words of encouragement and collective prayers, as the mourners urged the family to remain steadfast in faith and hope.
