The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has released the final list of successful candidates for appointment into the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Customs II (ASC II) under its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise.
In a statement issued on Monday by the National Public Relations Officer of the Service, Deputy Comptroller of Customs Abdullahi Maiwada, candidates were advised to visit the official NCS website and selected national newspapers to confirm their recruitment status and obtain details of the next phase of the exercise.
According to the statement, successful applicants will also receive notifications through their registered email addresses and SMS, containing instructions on the next stage of the recruitment process.
The Service disclosed that candidates are required to log on to the recruitment portal using their National Identification Number (NIN) or registered email address to upload a valid Medical Certificate of Fitness obtained from a government-recognised hospital.
It stated that the portal for uploading the medical certificates will be activated on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, and candidates must complete the process within one week of activation.
The NCS further directed successful candidates to update their current state of residence on the portal and formally accept their provisional offer of appointment by clicking the “Accept Offer” button.
It added that each successful candidate would subsequently receive a Trainee Identification Number within one week.
The Service noted that details of documentation and physical screening, including dates, venues and other requirements, would be communicated through its official channels.
It warned candidates to strictly comply with all instructions and timelines, stressing that failure to meet any of the requirements could lead to disqualification and forfeiture of the provisional offer of appointment.
On behalf of the Nigeria Customs Service Board, the Comptroller-General of Customs congratulated all successful candidates, expressing confidence that they would uphold the values of professionalism, integrity and dedicated service as they begin their careers with the Service.
