The Regy & Henry Amazing Grace Foundation has received a major boost in its grassroots education efforts following a high-profile visit by the Executive Secretary of the National Mass Education Commission (NMEC), Prof. Musa Garba Maitasfar.

The visit took place at the foundation’s ongoing three-week intensive training programme in the Galadimawa area of Abuja. The initiative, titled “Literacy Through Vocational and Psychosocial Support,” is aimed at equipping participants with essential reading skills alongside practical vocational training and mental health support.

Foundation officials described the visit as a significant endorsement of their mission to tackle illiteracy and unemployment at the community level. Prof. Maitasfar, known for his hands-on leadership approach, commended the programme’s structure and its focus on combining literacy with life skills.

According to Dr. Duru Regina, National Coordinator, Regy and Henry Amazing Grace Foundation, , the training has attracted participants from across the community, with sessions designed to empower individuals through education, skill acquisition, and psychosocial development.

The foundation reiterated its commitment to expanding such initiatives and called for partnerships and support from stakeholders, donors, and the general public to sustain and scale its impact.
