A House of Representatives aspirant under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Adams Mustapha Ojenya, has praised fellow frontline aspirant, Hon. Aisha Ibrahim Adoke (PhD), popularly known as AIA, describes her as a “sister” and a politician distinguished by humility, maturity, and respect for others.
Ojenya, who is reportedly backed by Hajiya Maryam Adoke, commended AIA’s style of politics, noting that she has consistently demonstrated understanding, sportsmanship, and a peaceful approach to political engagement in the Okehi/Adavi Federal Constituency race.
Speaking on the political atmosphere within the constituency, Ojenya stated that politics should be about building relationships and fostering unity rather than creating unnecessary hostility in the quest for power.
“I am truly inspired by her admirable sense of statesmanship and sportsmanship”, Ojenya stated.
“This is the true spirit of politics — building relationships, promoting unity, and respecting one another rather than creating enmity out of desperation for power,” he added.
The ADC aspirant further described Aisha Ibrahim Adoke as a calm and result-oriented leader with a proven track record in public service.
Mustapha Ojenya gathered in his tweets and highlighted Aisha Ibrahim Adoke past appointments on several boards and her tenure as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Kogi State Investment and Property Limited.
According to Ojenya tweets, the agency, which had reportedly suffered years of inadequate funding before her appointment, witnessed remarkable transformation and unprecedented achievements during her seven-year leadership.
Political analysts, he noted, believe the experience and leadership qualities demonstrated by AIA could positively impact the people of Okehi/Adavi Federal Constituency if elected into the Green Chamber of the National Assembly in 2027.
Ojenya also used the opportunity to appreciate the leadership of the ADC in Kogi State, particularly the State Party Chairman, Dr. Tom Zakari, whom he described as a father figure within the party.
In a statement shared via his social media platform, he expressed gratitude for the chairman’s mentorship and leadership style, which he said is anchored on peace, sincerity, and unity.
“My sincere gratitude also goes to the Kogi State ADC 001 and the State Party Chairman, Dr. Tom Zakari, who has consistently played the role of a father figure through his guidance, mentorship, and wise counsel,” Ojenya stated.
The Information Technology expert concluded with prayers for continued peace, unity, and divine guidance for party members and supporters.
“May Allah continue to bless and guide us all. Jumu’ah Mubarak,” he added.
The statement was released by Adams Mustapha Ojenya Media Volunteers.
