Prominent writer, veteran and community leader Tom Ohikere joined woman advocate and politician Aisha at a recent parley organized by the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ihima, drawing attention from party supporters and local stakeholders.
The meeting was held at Engr Uhutu’s residence, kogi central leader of ADC and, brought together party faithful, youth leaders and community influencers to deliberate on grassroots mobilization and strategies for strengthening democratic participation at the local level.
Ohikere, known for his contributions to civic discourse and community development, emphasized the importance of inclusive leadership and active citizen engagement in shaping the political future of the area. He urged residents to remain committed to democratic ideals and constructive dialogue.
Hon. Dr. Aisha Ibrahim Adoke (AIA) , Adavi /Okehi Federal House of Representatives Hopeful, and a respected advocate for women’s rights and political inclusion, highlighted the need for greater female representation in governance.
She called on political parties to create more opportunities for women and young people to participate meaningfully in decision-making processes.
The ADC parley served as a platform for interaction between party leaders and constituents, with discussions centered on unity, development and responsive leadership.
