A large crowd of residents from underserved communities in Irepeni and Zariagi turned out on Sunday, March 15, 2026
for the ongoing electronic registration of members into the African Democratic Congress (ADC), facilitated by House of Representatives hopeful Hon. Dr. Aisha Ibrahim Adoke.

The exercise, organized by the Aisha Ibrahim Adoke Grassroots Engagement and Mobilisation Team (AIA-GEMT), focused on reaching residents in remote areas who had previously been unable to complete the party’s digital registration.

Registration activities began as early as 9:00 a.m. at the Farm Center Ward, the largest ward in Kogi State and Adavi Local Government Area, respectively, and continued until about 6:30 p.m., ensuring that all interested participants were captured in the system.

Organizers said the initiative was designed to ensure that residents in rural communities were not excluded from the ADC membership process.

According to Adoke, many of the country’s “real voters” live in remote and underserved areas and must be given equal opportunity to participate in the political process.
Participants expressed excitement as they completed their electronic registration, describing the process as smooth and inclusive.

Many also said the turnout reflected growing confidence in the African Democratic Congress as a political platform capable of addressing Nigeria’s challenges.
Aisha Ibrahim Adoke, who is aspiring to represent the Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, said her vision is to build a constituency where every citizen matters.
Known for her development mantra of “creating wealth and building communities,” she said the moment presents an opportunity for credible, accountable, and people-centered representation.

Several participants at the event expressed optimism that if elected, Adoke would bring meaningful change to the Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency, pledging that her leadership could help reshape the political and developmental narrative of the area.
