The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the commencement of the next phase of its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise, directing successful applicants to prepare for physical screening and document verification scheduled to begin next week.
In a statement issued on Saturday and signed by the Secretary to the Board, retired Major General A.M. Jibril, applicants who participated in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted in November 2025 were advised to visit the official recruitment portal from Monday, June 15 to Friday, June 20, 2026, to check their application status.
According to the Board, candidates are required to log into the portal using the application number generated during their initial registration process.
The statement explained that shortlisted applicants would be expected to upload their credentials online and select their preferred dates and venues for the physical screening exercise. Candidates were also urged to carefully follow all instructions provided on the portal to avoid disqualification.
The Board reiterated that the recruitment exercise remains entirely free of charge and cautioned applicants against falling victim to fraudsters.
“No fee should be paid by applicants to any individual, agent, group or organisation claiming to render assistance with shortlisting, venue allocation, document upload, access to screening venue, or final selection,” Jibril stated.
CDCFIB further urged members of the public to disregard fake recruitment messages and fraudulent links circulating on social media and other online platforms, stressing that all official information would only be communicated through its recruitment portal and approved channels.
The Board reaffirmed its commitment to conducting a transparent, credible and merit-based recruitment process in line with established guidelines and regulations.
The ongoing recruitment exercise covers four agencies under the Board, namely the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), the Federal Fire Service (FFS), and the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).
Applicants shortlisted for the next stage have been advised to assemble their original credentials and other relevant documents ahead of the physical screening and verification exercise.
