The Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kogi State, Hon. Tom Zakari, has felicitated Muslim faithful across the state, urging them to uphold the virtues of peace, compassion, unity, humility and justice as they celebrate Eid-El-Maulud.
Zakari, in a goodwill message to ADC members, supporters and their families, described the occasion as an opportunity to reflect on the exemplary life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
The Kogi ADC chairman called on members of the party to use the celebration to strengthen their bonds and deepen their commitment to building a united, peaceful and prosperous state.
He said the values demonstrated by the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), particularly compassion, justice and service to humanity, remained essential to the development of society.
“As members of one political family, may this special occasion strengthen our bonds, deepen our commitment to one another and inspire us to continue working together for a more united, peaceful and prosperous Kogi State,” he said.
Zakari also prayed for the peace, stability and prosperity of Nigeria, while asking Allah to bless families and communities and accept the prayers and acts of worship of the faithful.
He wished all Muslim members and supporters of the ADC in Kogi State a peaceful and joyous celebration, saying: “To all our Muslim faithful, Eid Mubarak.”
