Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says a pilot on a flight from Dubai to Israel stabbed the other pilot and apparently attempted to crash the aircraft before being overpowered by a passenger and a member of the crew.
Netanyahu said the incident occurred during the flight, with the attacker allegedly trying to take control of the aircraft after assaulting the other pilot.
A passenger and a crew member intervened and managed to overpower the pilot, preventing what Netanyahu described as an apparent attempt to bring down the aircraft.
