More than a decade after its establishment, the Regy and Henry Amazing Grace Foundation (RHAGF) has continued to make significant impact in the fight against poverty across communities in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), empowering over 2,000 individuals through various economic and skills acquisition programmes.
The foundation, whose core mission is centered on poverty eradication and community development, has consistently partnered with stakeholders to improve the living conditions of vulnerable families and individuals. Its interventions are aimed at complementing government efforts to reduce poverty and create economically viable communities.
According to the National Coordinator of RHAGF, Dr. Duru Regina, the organization remains committed to ensuring that no individual or family goes to bed hungry or suffers avoidable hardship.
She explained that the foundation has designed several empowerment initiatives to equip residents with practical skills capable of improving their livelihoods and promoting self-reliance.
In continuation of its humanitarian efforts, RHAGF recently concluded a successful skills acquisition programme in Galadimawa Community and has now commenced another round of empowerment training in Kukwaba Community, Abuja.
The latest initiative was officially flagged off by Dr. Duru Regina in collaboration with the Agency for Mass Literacy, Adult and Non-Formal Education during the commencement of Learning and Literacy Activities in Kukwaba Community of the FCT on May 7, 2026.
Speaking at the flag off, Mr. Itam of the FCT Mass Literacy Agency addressed community stakeholders and participants, emphasizing the importance of literacy and vocational training as critical tools for poverty reduction and community development.
Residents and stakeholders at the event commended the foundation for its sustained commitment to improving lives and providing opportunities for economic empowerment across communities in the FCT.
