The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has successfully screened leading Okehi/Adavi House of Representatives aspirant, Hon. Aisha Ibrahim Adoke (PhD), sets the stage for primary election signaling what supporters describe as the beginning of a new political movement in the constituency.

Speaking with journalists on Saturday at the ADC State Headquarters in Lokoja,
Hon. Adoke said the party remains “the party to beat” as political activities gather momentum across the country.

Running on the banner of “ROAD 2027” — an acronym for Resetting Okehi/Adavi 2027 — the aspirant declared her readiness to bring industrial growth, quality representation, and people-centered legislation to the constituency if elected into the Green Chamber.

According to her, the ADC is rebuilding institutional trust and offering Nigerians a credible alternative capable of restoring confidence in governance.
“It will be a total reset for Okehi/Adavi. I will industrialise the constituency and set legislative standards others will come to emulate,” she stated.
Hon. Adoke further assured constituents that her leadership would focus on impactful governance with visible results.

“I will reset Okehi/Adavi with large impact that people can clearly see. I have positioned myself to be the voice Okehi/Adavi will be proud of. I am trusted; send me, and the results will speak for themselves,” she added.

Hon. Aisha Ibrahim Adoke (PhD ) successful screening has strengthened her position within the ADC and energized supporters ahead of what is expected to be a keenly contested 2027 race in Okehi/Adavi Federal Constituency.
