The Tinubu Young Generation Forum has praised President Tinubu for its administrative giant stride, reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the administration through youth mentorship, skills development and nationwide empowerment, pledging to deepen engagement with young Nigerians as part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Addressing journalists at the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the forum, themed “Youth Stakeholders’ Engagement and Dialogue: The Renewed Hope Agenda — The Imperative of Nigerian Youth, Dreams of Yesterday, Today and the Future,” the National President, Hon. Prince Kevin, said the group has remained focused on building sustainable opportunities for young people since its formation in 2023.

According to him, the forum currently runs skills-development and mentorship programmes, including an ICT training centre in Garki, Abuja, where young Nigerians receive practical training. He added that several empowerment initiatives have already been implemented in collaboration with the Federal Government.

Prince Kevin said the achievements of President Tinubu’s administration since May 2023 are visible and must be communicated directly to young people at the grassroots.

“The achievements of Mr President are clear, and they must go down to the grassroots. Youths need to understand the evidence, the benefits and the dividends this government has delivered,” he said.

He disclosed that the forum is preparing a nationwide youth empowerment agenda scheduled to commence in 2026, which will be implemented across all states of the federation. The programme, he noted, will focus on skills acquisition, entrepreneurship and long-term capacity building, rather than short-term empowerment.

“We don’t want the usual routine where people are empowered and after a year they sell off what they were given. Our goal is sustainable empowerment that truly changes lives,” Prince Kevin stated.

He added that since 2023, the forum has supported young Nigerians through initiatives such as JAMB form sponsorships and other educational and capacity-building interventions.

The National President said the group continues to engage young people at the national level, using the media to promote awareness of the Renewed Hope Agenda and counter misinformation.

“We are using the media to spread the good news of President Tinubu and to renew the hopes of young Nigerians. This government is performing and has shown capacity. What we see happening in Abuja today reflects strong political will,” he said.

Commending the President for ongoing reforms and development efforts, Prince Kevin expressed gratitude on behalf of Abuja indigenes and urged youths to rely on credible and balanced information.

“Young people should not be moved by propaganda. They should pay attention to quality news, facts and unbiased reporting. This is how we can build Nigeria together in unity and love,” he advised.

The NEC meeting was held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at the APC Youth House, Nest Resource Centre, Abuja, and was attended by state stakeholders drawn from across the country, highlighting the forum’s expanding national reach.
