As political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections intensify, calls for credible leadership and effective governance are gaining momentum across the Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency.
In a significant political development, the Ovidi Family Forum has hosted the Adavi/Okehi House of Representatives Hopeful, Hon. Dr. Aisha Ibrahim Adoke (AIA).
At a high-level meeting held Wednesday in Abuja, the influential grassroots group, known for advocating transparency and progressive governance, formally received the aspirant in what FOAN described as a decisive step toward shaping the constituency’s political future.

Speaking during the meeting, representatives of the Friends of Africa and Nigeria for Good Governance (FOAN) assured stakeholders that the constituency would experience quality and impactful representation if Adoke is elected.
FOAN also highlighted Hon. Dr. Aisha Ibrahim Adoke -AIA track records and commitment to public service, describing her ambition as a turning point for redefining political standards in Kogi State.
FOAN also urged members of the Ovidi Family Forum and the wider electorate to rally behind the aspirant, emphasizing her vision to transform the constituency’s political narrative.
In her remarks, Hon. Dr. Aisha Ibrahim Adoke pledged to deliver inclusive governance and sustainable development.
She stressed her commitment to wealth creation, community building, and effective representation, noting that her candidacy is driven by a desire to bring tangible change to the people of Adavi/Okehi.
“I am committed to birthing a new Adavi/Okehi anchored on inclusion, development, and opportunity for all,” she said, while seeking the continued support of the forum.
In response, the Ovidi Family Forum reaffirmed its support for Adoke’s aspiration.
The group also promised total backing for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kogi State, signaling a coordinated effort to secure victory in the upcoming elections.
