Adavi /Okehi House of Representatives, Hopeful, Hon. Dr. Aisha Ibrahim Adoke (AIA), has congratulated the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Kogi Women Leader- elect, Hajiya Bilikisu Muhammed Onusagba, and the Kogi ADC party’s Secretary-elect , S. O. Adeleye, describing their emergence as well deserved.
In a statement, Adoke commended both Kogi ADC leaders for their proven competence and capacity, expressing confidence in their ability to effectively discharge their responsibilities at the State level.
Adoke noted that Onusagba’s leadership would strengthen women’s participation within the party and position the ADC for greater success ahead of the general elections.
According to Hon. Dr. Aisha Ibrahim Adoke, Onusagba’s advocacy for inclusiveness and the push for a 35 percent affirmative action for women in politics underscore the party’s commitment to gender equity.
Adoke further stated that the ADC stands to gain significant momentum as political activities intensify, emphasizing that Onusagba’s Women leadership representation would energize women across the state and enhance the party’s electoral prospects.
