The Nationwide Tinubu Connect Associates (NTCA) has officially endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office, declaring that his economic reforms have positioned Nigeria as one of Africa’s most vibrant economies.

The endorsement was announced on Friday, in Abuja, during a world press conference held in Abuja by the group’s Director-General, Bello Maigari, who described the President as a “visionary and results-driven leader” capable of sustaining national progress.

Speaking at the event, Maigari the Director General, NTCA said the association’s decision followed extensive nationwide consultations and a review of the administration’s performance since 2023.

“We are convinced beyond any doubt that President Tinubu remains the most capable leader to secure a prosperous future for Nigeria,” he said.
Economic Reforms and National Impact

The NTCA credited Tinubu’s administration with implementing bold economic reforms that have stabilised the country’s finances, improved investor confidence, and strengthened revenue generation.

According to the group, Nigeria’s foreign reserves have risen significantly, reinforcing confidence in the naira.

Maigari noted that despite inheriting a challenging economic environment, the administration has made strides in infrastructure, energy, and governance reforms under its “Renewed Hope Agenda.”
Infrastructure and Security Gains

The group highlighted ongoing large-scale infrastructure projects, including major highway constructions, port upgrades, and rail development, describing them as the most ambitious since independence.

On security, NTCA said improved coordination among military and intelligence agencies has led to significant gains against insurgency and banditry, restoring relative calm in previously volatile regions.

The association also pointed to Tinubu’s tenure as Governor of Lagos State from 1999 to 2007, crediting him with laying the foundation for the state’s transformation into a leading economic hub in Africa through tax reforms, infrastructure development, and urban renewal initiatives.

Formally declaring its support, NTCA announced its commitment to mobilising voters nationwide to ensure Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.

The group said it aims to deliver at least 10 million votes through grassroots campaigns, digital outreach, and community engagement.
“Our endorsement is based on proven leadership, visible achievements, and the need for continuity,” Maigari stated.

The association revealed it has built a network of over 2.5 million members across Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, spanning youth, women, professionals, and grassroots mobilisation.

NTCA also pledged to work closely with the Presidential Campaign Council and other support groups to coordinate nationwide efforts before and during the elections.

Reaffirming its stance, the group declared that there is “no vacancy in Aso Rock” ahead of the 2027 general elections, expressing confidence in Tinubu’s leadership and electoral prospects.

The press conference was attended by several political stakeholders, including government officials, Kogi SSG Dr. Folashade Arike, community leaders, amongst others, underscoring the growing momentum behind the endorsement.
